DESCRIPTION

Developed to meet the requirements of signal conditioning rationally, the BCI 382 terminal block provides a solution for HIGH and LOW level analog input acquisition.

The 3-port type isolation enables ground and common mode problems to be overcome.

The BCI 382 terminal block also provides:

  • cold weld compensation for the thermocouples,
  • conditioning and linearization of the platinum sensors
  • current loop closing,
  • conditioning of AD 590 type silicon sensors.

Equipped with software-programmable gains (B :1, 2, 4, 8 AND D : 1, 10, 100, 1000) and differential analog outputs, the BCI 382 terminal block can be controlled by analogic and digital coupler boards from which it can be separated by up to 30m.

Of painstaking design, it is used to advantage in industrial environments where the cost of conditioning has to be taken into account.
